Fiber Content: 60% Superwash Merino, 30% Bamboo, 10% Nylon
Care: May be machine washed in cool water, but for best results all hand knits should be hand washed
Sushi Socks looks a lot thicker than your average fingering weight because its VERY smooshy, but its compresses a lot as you knit. Bamboo is a strong fiber when dry but is delicate when wet, so for best results handwash and allow to air dry rather than putting through the washing/drying machines.
Because of the cellulose (plant) content, Sushi Socks doesn't take colors as boldly as some of our other base yarns. It has a soft shimmer and a nice bounce, but not much stitch definition. This is one of our softest yarns and is excellent for people with delicate skin or whenever you need a soft snuggle!
Below you'll find some examples of colorways dyed on this yarn but it, like all of our yarn and fiber, is available in ANY of the colorways listed in the Colors section of our website. For additional photos, type in the yarn name in the "search" bar at the top of the side bar.
